Briella Marie "Ella" Bobal
June 24, 2012 - July 10, 2019
Briella Marie "Ella" Bobal, 7, of Chesterfield passed away on July 10, 2019 at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from a brain hemorrhage caused by an aggressive tumor. Her loving family was by her side. Ella was entering 2nd grade at Chesterfield Elementary School. She loved cuddling, making slime, doing cartwheels with her sister, Aubrey, and playing softball. She loved pigs (especially flying pigs), mermaids and the color pink. She proudly wore the #18 on the softball field. We will #playforElla all year.
8/27/19: We are two weeks in to practices and gearing up for our first tournament on 9/7! The girls look great and we are very excited to see what the have on the field this Fall! We are still on the hunt for an experienced pitcher to fill our 12th and final roster spot. If you think this could be you, inquire about a private tryout or join us for a workout!
8/14/19: Our first 2019/2020 practice has happened! Woop!! Felt great to get back to work and get going with this awesome crew of girls! We are still on the hunt for the right player to fill our 12th and final roster spot. CJL 10u had an amazing experience at the 2019 USSSA Nationals in Sterling, VA this week. Many HOT and hard fought games. Well done girls! Our #7 Morgan Heller created this video for us. This team is all love. Our CJL Family!
CJL 10u takes home 2nd place at USSSA Boardwalk Classic in Ocean City, NJ 6/8-6/9/19! Congrats girls!
CJL 10u Tucker had an awesome, fun and full Fall Season playing in 22 games over several tournaments. The team captured a tournament win at South Brunswick's Halloween Havoc
where they also enjoyed dressing as Army girls for the Halloween themed tourney. To wrap up the Fall tournament schedule, the girls played in their first USSSA Qualifier of the year where they battled to the semi‐finals and missed going to the Championship game by just 1 run! This team made huge strides this Fall, made new friendships and have been working
hard this Winter season to set the stage on fire this Spring. We are looking forward to a full Spring/Summer Schedule! Go Lightning!

Congrats to CJL 10u on winning the Summer Blast Off tournament in North Brunswick, NJ 6/15-6/17! The girls went undefeated the entire weekend to bring home the hardware! Great job girls!
Spring 2018 had a cold weather start, but warmed up quickly as the girls took 3rd, 4th and 5th places in tournaments leading into the summer. We have 2 USSSA qualifiers ahead of us and then we are off to the WFC Summer Nationals in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina! Looking forward to seeing what these girls will do through July!
9/11/17: Our girls had an excellent first showing of the Fall Season at the 12th Annual Pink Tournament in Mercer County, NJ. The girls played hard, had a lot of fun and raised over $1700 to donate as a team to Breast Cancer Resource Centers of NJ! Congrats CJL 10u and great work! We are looking forward to our next tournament play in Howell, NJ 9/16-9/17. Go get it Central Jersey Lightning!
